The DUSTOMAT TOWER is used to extract welding fumes in production halls when localised extraction is insufficient or direct extraction from large workpieces is not practicable. As a stand-alone solution, the hall ventilation system requires no additional pipework, can be integrated quickly and can be flexibly repositioned to accommodate changes in production.
Welding fumes are captured via the system’s two side intake channels and reliably fed to the filter unit. There, highly efficient filter cartridges purify the air with a separation efficiency of up to 99.9 per cent. The purified air is then returned to the production hall in a controlled manner via long-throw nozzles.
An integrated frequency converter also enables the DUSTOMAT TOWER’s performance to be regulated according to demand, helping to reduce energy consumption.

Push-pull ventilation
The push-pull principle of the DUSTOMAT TOWER workshop ventilation system ensures controlled air flow within the production hall. Air containing welding fumes is drawn in via the two side intake ducts of the DUSTOMAT TOWER, purified in the filter unit and then returned in a controlled manner via long-throw nozzles to the production hall, where it is distributed evenly. At the same time, an optional opposing air duct ensures that the air containing welding fumes is continuously channelled to the filter system, thereby supporting the effective purification of the hall air.
